Kenneth F. Noga, age 21, 11 months

I have mentioned this before, but Ken loves kitties. Artistically gifted, he is especially renound for his violent pen-and-ink renderings of the feline form. However, one afternoon when (because of my abysmal math mistake) we had about 5x the bread dough that we needed, Ken decided it was time to branch out.

Cat Bread Pre-Inferno

Please note Ken's ski goggles.

Making sure to give it his signature rump marking. His tongue is coming out because he is concentrating. Like Michael Jordan.

The finished butt.

Jake noted that the bread-kitty actually looks more kitty-like overwhelming success!

Can Ken Cook? Ken CAN Cook!

If you liked this bread-cat, perhaps you will like the upcoming exhibition of some of Ken’s other work– Ken Noga: A Broad. This exhibition details the work produced during a critical time in his life– his world travels. This bank of images drawn from the Quinn/Weller collection will see Ken experimenting with different media, and coming into his own, unique, artistic practice. The exhibition will run in Erica and Jake’s apartment, the Spare Room Gallery, from late January to August 2011. Consult the collectors to make an appointment.

**if you’ve got a picture of kitty-shaped food you’d like to share with between 21 and 62 people, send an email to bearicaquinn at gmail dot com– it would make this sad girl happy to show it off for you.**

Also, to whoever is reading this: thank you.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
