The Cats are All Right

If I’ve said it once, I have said it 114 times– Dunedin is a friendly cat-place to live. Here are some pieces of evidence to support that fact.

Number one, one of my co-workers has a cat blog. Are you serious? There are two of us? In the same building?? If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do, because it is truly magnificent. http://blinkyandtoots.blogspot.com/

Item the second– we live two houses down from Maori Hill School, the location of the playground of unparalled greatness.

Big Kids Come Back

What does this have to do with cats, you ask? WELL let me tell you. The other day we noticed that they’d updated their art project bulliten board….looks like this kids have seen some authentic Nogas before. Clearly a major influence.

If all this weren’t enough, kindly examine the business card that appeared in our mailbox earlier this week. A CATTERY?? Are you serious? Is that a thing? Also, I don’t know why I never thought to go into this profession. Forget art school. I’m going to be a cat butler, professionally.

I would like to conclude this post by reminding you all of the Persians that surround our house. LIKE YOU NEEDED REMINDING.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
