[Sighting: Maori Hill, Dunedin, NZ]

Coming up the hill this evening, I was beginning to feel that all was forsaken. I had spent the day counting visitors to the gallery, there was no coffee for tomorrow morning, and Jake ate the last tortilla for lunch. Then we found Chester.

Chester, meet Jake. Jake, Chester.

Jake comments that this is the largest he's ever seen me smile.

This is the frowniest frown Ken has ever frowned.

He's got that one weird winking eye...

Chester, you made my day so fine. Dayum.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
