Claudia Knepp

This is Claudia, the aforementioned cat daughter of Jon and Kazia.

She is the sister of Maggie May, who spends a lot of time adorably snarfling everywhere and being a pugggggg.

The Knepp household is situated on a tract of family land in the precise center of Pennsylvania. Nearby attractions include goatz, that one “No Loitering” sign, the playground with the giant tank, and the final settlin’ grounds of the Chubson/Chumson family fued– the wall of trailers. It is a beautiful and restful place and sometimes they let me come over and play in their grass.

Claudia, as I have mentioned, is a kitty I have known for so long that when we first met she fit in the palm of my hand. Now a fancy and sleek adult-cat, Claudia is fond of television, and has the distinction of having moved three times in as many years. She is big and sprawly and used to chase Brian Hamilton’s cat around the house.

Clau Clau is also extremely fond of water, and her father and local-sports guru, Jon “Hoops” Knepp, notes that she follows her bathtub forays with prompt grooming, the final result making her look a lot like “a fourth grade bully on school picture day”. You know. All that gel. (See first photo in this set.)

Gettin' all in that wet stuff.

Claudia is loved and respected by all who have had the pleasure of making her acquaintance. She was one important half of the now-defunct-but-still-well-loved Cat Town, a town in which I had the good fortune to spend many nights sleeping in the years 2007-2008.

Cheers to you Claudia!

(Here is a picture of Hoops and Quinn. Quinn made Claudia a cat hat once. She was not entirely appreciative of this gesture.)

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
