Auf Wiederkittiez

Today’s post comes all the way from Germany, from one vacationing Roy Reuben Holm, that pleasantly reviling brother of mine. I once nearly got into a bar fight in his honor.

I miss you much.

We went to the Zoo, because it was free. And it has snowed over a foot here. So the cats were walking around unsure. Cudos to Dad for taking pictures. Thought you might like these photos.

The leopards (two of them) had one track set out for them, narrowly only following this trail, so as not to step into deep snow.

The lion was lounging relaxed in the corner of his pen on the snow, while the lioness was pacing restless around him, probably complaining that he hadn’t shoveled yet.

And the flamingo was quite hot pink.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
