Leroy McLean

Good morning, cat blog enthusiasts.

On this, the third day of February in the great year of 2011, I present to you Leroy McLean, who by his friend Pete’s testament is, “the Coolest cat ever”. Pete writes,

I’ve been conditioning him since the age of 2 weeks to be a fat lap cat that will love me no matter what.  Despite my efforts (and maybe because of them) he turned into one of those arrogant tom cats that only likes to be pet on his own schedule, but this whole “playing hard to get” things just makes him more adorable.  [editor’s note: I have been trapped in this cruel cycle many times.]

He’s got this funny attitude where he believes that he’s entitled to everything, especially food on the counter (like butter). [editor’s note: ew.] We have had to get creative with our methods of punishment, so we started to quarantine him on top of the  fridge and high up on top of the cabinets whenever he is bad.  He’s just too cute to punish!

TOO CUTE TO PUNISH

Leroy also likes cuddling on the back of armchairs around your neck, disappearing inside a pile of dirty laundry for a nap and following you around while you do yard work (cat dog).

Oh man, that sweet loaf of a cat is so ungodly adorable, it makes me want to drool out my insides. Big furry fuzzball.

Thanks to Pete and Pete’s mom for collaborating on the content of this cat blog!

Please, if you’ve got a stunningly amazing cat you’d like to share with a small section of the general public, shoot me an email and I’ll publish your contribution. And then, you too can be famous on the internet.

(Shockingly, since beginning this blog late one sleepless sad-girl night just a few months ago, it has received over 3,726 views. WHO IS READING THIS THING?? You are awesome.)

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
