Catching Up: Happy Valenkitty’s Day!

Because Valentines’ Day was sort of interrupted yesterday, I bring you the post I feel you so rightly deserved. Everyone, gather around your Mistos and Mardi Gras beads (I don’t know what you got for Valentines’ Day) and listen to the tale The Coon spins.

This sophisticated lady writes,

Lately I have been jonesing to contribute to your blog, but all the kitty neighbors have been staying hidden due to the bad weather.
But lo! – Upon my arrival at work today, I checked my mail to find one single item in the box.
It was a little, tiny, shimmering rectangle.
At first, I didn’t know what it was, but at last, I remembered – today is Valentine’s Day!
In my mailbox, I found the most cat-tastic valentine card. See photo below.

It reads: "You're meowvelous!"

The smallish kitty is present when you can read both ‘you’re’ and ‘meowvelous’ and when you slide your head and the giant kitty appears, he takes over ‘meowvelous’ and part of ‘you’re’. It is a wicked fancy hologram.
The back (not pictured) reads – “To: Sarah From: Cherisse”, who is one of Jeremy’s students.
Cherisse is just the best. She is in fourth grade, enjoys hanging upside-down from things (see photo), and loves animals.
For example, in Jeremy’s class, the students learned about camouflage, and Cherisse painted her hand the colors a bunny uses to camouflage itself.
Though she did not choose a kitty for this project, we will not question her loyalty towards cats because we know she loves them as evidenced by her choice in Valentine’s cards.
I realize that it is not the most original cat-blog post there ever was, but I will work on that for next time.
Until then, may your days be filled with kitties and chocolates and kitty-shaped chocolates,

Camera Coon, thank you for taking this opportunity to warm the hearts of millions. It certainly fuzzied mine up a little.

Guys, seriously, she’s great.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
