How I Spend My Evenings

Last night, due in part to the blog post previous to this one, Jake and I spent a delightful 5 minutes and 15 seconds loafing in the cool air, watching more from Maru…truly captivating.

Perfect.

Other evening activities include cooking– warm cumin and noodles and cilantro in a jar of water on the windowsill, talk radio, window fans, ice water, paper lanterns, the admiring of seedlings– the basil, the arugula, the pepper plant, the burgeoning tomato, reading aloud from one David Sedaris book or another, riding our bikes in circles in the street, under the yellowy light with cold air blowing off the river.

It is not so bad.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
