From Where I’m Sitting

Our apartment boasts a Rear-Window effect, especially when one spends as much time sitting in the living room as I do and when one is also a photographer and when one ALSO has a pretty extensive crush on Grace Kelly. The view, curated by our two tall windows, is a fairly extensive survey of the neighborhood goings-on, a creeper’s ticket to a handful of backyards, limited vistas of the two streets that comprise our corner, and the rear windows of others. (Are they looking at me too??) Oh, to watch.

I can often be found somewhere near or out our window, looking at things. (And, now that I am in art school, taking pictures of things.)

Other than that, it’s all cats to me.

From a recent, pleasant evening with Pente and cat kitsch.

At Jake's work, someone recycled this plastic bag into something greater than we all could have dreamed.

So, if you didn't know, we are moving! Again. The other evening we took a walk down that-a-way and found this kitty, a habringer of good luck, on our impending street.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I hope you didn’t forget about THE PRATT CATS!!

I surely didn’t.

Outside my class, nbd.

Mayhaps I will take this potentially boring sounding job so I can consort with Mr. Grey Kitty.

Here I am, enjoying a Pratt Cat INDOORS, IN A SCHOOL BUILDING MY GOD THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
