My Dad, Dark Horse Cat Enthusiast

Perhaps you’ll recall my father, or as he’s more popularly known on this blog, The Fancy Perch.

Oh-great-father-of-mine, that biochemist extraordinaire, also happens to be, among other significant things, a passionate naturalist. On a recent weekend spent doing awesome slash crazy outdoor stuff in Montana, my father reports that he and his friend “saw a crippled wolf chase away a grizzly bear that was eating a dead bison!”

As if you had time to ponder this, he follows the above statement with, “I am not making that up”.

When Joe Quinn wasn’t watching the natural world explode like a thousand fanged fireworks, he was spending time photo-documenting the following images at the Cateye Cafe of Bozeman, Montana.

Gracious me.

Thank you, Dad!! I am touched by your finds.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
