This post will be just what the title suggests.

How on earth wasn’t this already thought of?

from MATT, our U.K. Cat Correspondent

Here’s one from waaaay back, because I am slow and lazy and awful, etc.

This article, describing the exploits “Naughty Cat Burglar Dusty” is AWESOME, and also features the aforementioned Dusty The Cat.

from JESS

This video was a first-day-of-school-gift from my most rockingest of cousins, J. Beez. I am curious as to why I do not already own this balloon.

The Coon sends along this McSweeny’s piece, entitled “What Your Favorite 80s Band Says About You”.

“Bearica Quinn, you will notice Joy Division’s.”

Curious, I took a look.

Joy Division: You have been bitten by a cat while trying to dress it in period costume.

Succinct. Succinct.

from PAM

“Hi Cat Lady,” Pam, of farming fame, writes.

From this inspired introduction, she goes on to tell of a kitty she discovered through free kibble (if you don’t already do this, WHYYYYY, YOU’RE A FOOL!) who composes his own music.

Here’s the dapper gentleman.

RIP Ketzel, who apparently passed away quite recently at the ripe age of 19! He was known for being adorable and also for composing “Piece for Piano, Four Paws.”

Don’t believe Pam?

Here you go.

I am here again, clean, dimly-lamplit, sleepy, examining the bicycle map and steaming cat mug full of Darjeeling tea and the Bearded Companion who are all resting across the table from me, whistling the Johnny Cash cranking out of this broken internet box upon which I type and there are new sheets and tomorrow morning I’m going to MoMA for homework and for dinner I made gingered greens and tofu so things are feeling fancy right now.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
