About Lots of Different Cats,

all of them near enough to me to have been captured on my own personal camera machine.

Hey, remember the Bodega Cats?

This cat's name, the nice bodega guy who I see nearly every day when I buy two nice beers for an inexpensive price, tells me, after a moment's consideration, is Gato. Wunderbar. Sometimes I see this kitty outside tearing into chicken carcasses. St. Marks and Nostrand, SW corner.

Well, he's from the 99 cent store on Nostrand between Bergen and St. Marks, but he counts regardless.

Now I live pretty close to this place

Once I had between 2 and 3 glasses and wine and took all my available friends to the Brooklyn Museum and I was just uninhibited enough to touch everything in sight. It made for a truly revolutionary art experience. I found these guys there.

Some Pictures of Me So Close to Home I’m Actually at Home

What’s up, despite moving to the largest city in the universe (it seems), my life is still hilariously tame/lame. I prefer it that way. Here is me in my natural habitat with selected cat objects.

Whenever Libby and I walk around Manhattan, we notice that, when someone has a truly excellent dog that they're walking, they get this look on their face of pure smugness. "Yeah, I know what I got." Well, this is my version with me and my cat pin that Dave gave me!

Back to my old tricks, with Snowball, the cat we didn't give to Ken.

#1 Obvious Benefit of Moving: Tacos. #2 Obvious Benefit of Moving: Mike Shea + Christina, a.k.a. RAYMOND

Here he is.

Box City! Population: Raymond.

After thoroughly investigating this bag, Raymond decided to just go ahead and conquer it.

I like murals!

Here’s one near Eastern Parkway.

One time we went to the Brooklyn Brewery and there was a cat sitting on the decorative sacks of beer ingredients and I went over and touched it and told the nearby tourists not to take my photo and they all said, “okay”.

The end.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
