In the space between things.

You might have noticed that I have been a lackadaisical cat blogger lately.

This is because I have been an extremely diligent joke life art student, in preparation for November transit! I write to you here, in a spare moment, poised between two trips: Friendsgiving in my past life, and a very merry Maryland Thanksgiving in my future. I shall recount, and anticipate.

On Friday, the greatest East Coast car party to ever grace the land originated in Newark and rolled with glee across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, in search of the gathering nest of our friends, located in that great town of Williamsburg. (En route, we also found it important to giggle our way through the strange products hocked by the Newark Family Dollar just in time to see Weird Bus Guy, browse the Appeteasers at The Ugly Mug in my own hometown, adjacent to roaring fire, and then to visit White Haven’s famous wine & spirits shop in the winter darkness.)

Once firmly settled into one giant friend sleepover at Jon & Kazia’s peaceful farmhouse featuring wonderful wallpaper, and the coolest baby I have ever known, I slowed down long enough to witness the cat– my old pal, Claudia.

Claudia and Scott ❤ watching Friendzone for forever.

All things in this photo are adorable.

CATS LOVE POTATOES ALSO PLASTIC

After this lovely warp in the space time continuum, I am back in Brooklyn for the next 24 hours, at which point it will be time to Give Thanks like our forefathers wish they did by visiting Tsi-Shi and seeing more loved ones in a nearby state.

Until then, I’ll be right here, giving thanks for the kitties in this very building.

Plant Kitty, brought to you by Suzanne, smiles at the drying habaneros.

The foyers of this building are fantastic. For example, there is this...

...and this!

Dear God, thank you for friends, also cats.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
