Back from the South

I have traded one fireplace, one set of loving parents, one house tucked back in the woods, and one dog and cat for another.

The Bearded Companion and I are safely back in NE Pennsylvania, where we can currently be found reading a magazine about Alaska (Jake), blogging about cats (me), playing a game involving cats (JQ) and watching “Murder, She Wrote” (all of the above).

Here are some pictures about the more southern half of our family, and our latest venture to those parts. Cats featured.

I arrived in Maryland and was greeted with a pleasant scene, and huevos rancheros!

Tsi-Shi continued his campaign of cool, and Seamus continued to be completely adorable and Madre continued being completely amazing. There are other people, but they are not in this photograph.

In the bathroom, there stars a photo of our old house (photo courtesy of Ken, dome courtesy of Jake), and beneath it curls this little kitty silhouette.

Coming in from the (not so) cold.

On the morning of our departure, Jake's dad made waffles and Tsi Shi swatted Seamus.

Das Kitten

It's hard for me to blog about a trip to Lusby without prominently mentioning this smiley dog. The best dog in the world, the best dog in the land. I am love for him.

(I am also love for him.)

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
