By Way of Social Media

Though I am but an awkward and unsophisticated e-networker, I am beginning to find small degrees of merit in all of these shiny manners of remote connection. For instance, cats.

Without Twitter, how could I possibly hear up to date love statements regarding Virginia Woolf, by way of Roger?

(Also, Twitter proves to be a great way to stay in touch with Shaq, fyi.)

And without Facebook, where would I have seen Libby’s photo of herself with Pippin, her smug cat friend on a recent holiday back home to Australia?

Or these two selections from the rich cat life of Mike Shea?

Raymundo and Richard Pryor.

And without Tumblr, how could I have come across this image from rad Art Boss Elizabeth? (of Fiona‘s tucked-away friend)

So, yes, I’m not great at it BUT it just proves that cats are everywhere, etc, so keep ’em coming.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
