My Florida Cat Correspondent

Don’t know if you’ve heard, but Molly is pretty much the sauce.

Molly, my one-time across-the-hall neighbor now lives in Florida, and we now live in Brooklyn. Our hearts are connected across the miles and mountains through an unshakable bond of CATS.

Lately, Molly has created a new, 21st Century way of submitting her cats– via a cat related Pinterest board, entitled “cats for erica“.

This is a heads up. It’s about to get a lot more cat up in here. And when I reference Florida, know what rad lady them cats are coming from.

My Kramer. May you barge into my house wherever I live, at whatever hour. Let us let ourselves into each other’s apartments to steal ketchup. (Oops, did you know that I did that?) May you noodle on over with a lovable dog and we’ll drink Lightning Kitties all afternoon and do arts and crafts. One time when it is snowing and we don’t know each other yet I will make you soft pretzels and you will come over and it wil be great.

I miss you.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
