It calms me.

Let’s get some cats on the Internet before I rocket into the ice-wind exploding sunshine Brooklyn morning and have three teachers look at my art with me present to explain and then they decide if I continue in the MFA program.

from HURRICANE BEN

The savvy Hurricane Ben sends along this addition to our recent discussion of Boys with Beards with Cats. Because I am familiar with both his incredible knowledge base and also his frequent acts of kindness, I imagine this won’t be the last we hear of the celebrity-musicians-with-beards-with-cats genre.

from MIKE SHEA

Well, Mike Shea didn’t so much submit this as he did tell me I could take it. Of this photograph of Parker– the kitty he and lady-friend Christina and other larger cat Raymond share, Mike Shea writes,

Parker likes art supplies but her work is really derivative post-modern garbage.

from RACHEL

This is another case of non-submission, but really just appropriating while giving credit. We’ve already met Rachel and Mason’s kitties, but here is Scout at her finest.

from JEN and also PAUL

You know it’s going to be good when you get a submission twice.

Also, according to this we’re all doomed.

also from PAUL

You also know it’s going to be good when a person submits twice!

from ROY

This pretty much speaks for itself, right?

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
