One More Day

Sometimes, you are struggling to finish writing a paper for the most puzzling class you are currently taking and also finishing all the grading for two sections of undergraduate art history while simultaneously falling ill and working from bed with your soup and tea balanced on the seat of a chair functioning as a nightstand. Things have been easier, but things have certainly been more difficult.

My Poochcat, Erin, must have sensed my distress from across the two rivers– because this afternoon I received an email from her called “Got Cats?”.

So here are some cat photos.  The first is a picture of Cally, which is always a delight, but after that comes a real treat.  It was raining the other day and I was walking through the parking lot.  My friend Sherard noticed a car with its windows open that these 2 cats were using to take refuge.  Good cats.

Enjoy as I enjoyed, my dear cat friends. The worst is over soon. As Brian Hamilton would say, we’re just braving the rain now.

Thank you, Poochie-Pie!

Our one-eyed beauty.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
