Birth Presents Round-Up

Recently, I turned 24. This sad cat girl’s coming of age tale is resplendent with friends, food, and cats. Here is a second installment of cat-ifacts that have trickled in from dear, dear well wishers. I LOVE YOU ALL. Seriously, come over anytime. Like right now.

from JESS

Basically, any variety of cut and paste is really going to light my fire.

A glowing book review is forthcoming, rest assured.

from SUZANNE

Right back at you!

So, this has met several life goals. AHHHHH. Their eyes! They glow like coal! I shall wear it on my left-most fingers.

It is with this waterbottle that I shall smuggle wine to all of the free concerts in the park this summer.

from MY FAMILY

Inside, you shall find a charming variety of familial signatures, including ones from our pets.

from ZEE MADRE Y PADRE DE JAKE

These cookbooks have already begun to bring great joy into my life, and this cat card has introduced me to the concept of wrapping cats in towels! Overall, much knowledge gained.

from HURRICANE BEN

This book is amazingly, inexplicably wonderful.

The first page: great promise.

This clears up a lot of conjecture on the part of Jake and myself.

from DAVE and CHRISTIE

This is Olive’s favorite toy, as evidenced by the fact that she ate most of it last week.

from ROY

So, this wasn’t really for my birthday but I did start wearing it around that time. Yes, this is a shirt. About Cats the musical. That Roy bought at an army surplus store. It satisfies my most basic T-shirt requirements: 1) long enough to wear as a dress-esque garment; 2) black; 3) feline.

exes and ohs abound.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
