New Cat on the Block: Cicero!

I have mentioned in previous posts about the kindness of Dave and the radness of Christie. Is it any wonder that they’d procure themselves a kitty as handsome as Cicero?

Recently, Christie wrote me an email wherein she asked, “Write a blogz about him?”

Duh.

His name is Cicero, as you know, but I affectionately call him Professor Cat-face Meowmers. Lollypop Farms told us he was a leader of the band, but I think they were mostly wrong. He’s a leader of the band from 5:30 until 10:30 in the morning, but that’s only because he sleeps aaaall day and night. Those are just the hours that he’s awake and active. The vet also said that he was on a fast track to being a fat cat. He really does want to eat ALL the time. He likes chasing feet, shoelaces, necklaces, and really likes feathers. He also has a toy dog that he likes to play with and sit on top of. Luckily he’s also a cuddler and doesn’t mind being held like a baby. I just love him. I’m sure Dave could tell you tons more.

I look forward to doing some field reporting on the topic, but in the meantime, these delightful photos Christie forwarded will have to tie me over!

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
