Saying Goodbye to a Brooklyn Mainstay

Rest in peace, Monster.

via Brooklyn Brewery

I recently received word of the passing of the cat– who occupied the Brooklyn Brewery tasting room, lounging on bags of hops, rubbing against the ankles of drunk people, and became sad indeed. Not only am I a loyal patron of the Brooklyn Brewery, both in its physical and 6-pack form, but I met Monster last fall. He was a delight.

This is a blow, for both beer drinkers and cat lovers. I am both.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
