Dispatches from Dave: “Cat Things”

We all know Dave.

However, we don’t all know how supreme of a friend Dave is. Luckily, I am not one of these people. For you, I have replicated a recent email de Davio. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.

I have some blog material for you! I started doing film programming at the Smith and came across this gem in my research.

Subtitles are unnecessary.

Well, I know what we’re doing the next time we see one another.

You may have noticed the swooping picture of a cat that also spews blood:

As if I could have missed it.

Some stills.

There is an official synopsis of the film on imdb, but a reviewer’s summary is a little more informative:
“The story follows a group of girlfriends who head to the country for vacation. They go to one of the girl’s Aunt’s house to spend their time. But unbeknownst to all of them the Aunt isn’t really who she says she is. And there’s a cat named Snowflake that obviously has some issues.”

I’ll let you know when it’s playing! Haven’t set a date yet.

I also found this:

To end on a glad note. Goodnight, moon. Goodnight, city and 3 legged cat and empty apartment and the window and Dave in the same state many miles away. With love for all. Scary cats for most.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
