Weekend Slushpile

It is…..SATURDAY. I am spending it as one should: eating a hoagie in jammies, drinking coffee and nestling deeper into one’s parents’ new couch. There is work to be done: quizzes to grade, writing to do, photographs to make. But, for now, I am resting. And celebrating the birthday of Mon Bon Croissant!

Curl up with some kitties.

Here’s a photo of two signs right by my front door.  Thought you could relate.

One time I got sick and couldn’t go to Loney‘s party. Good thing Jean Paul was on the case.

This gem came in an email entitled “Cat 4 Bear”. I love this.

“Church steps cat in Park Slope today.”

Long ago, H. Ben sent me an email that said,

In case you haven’t.

I clicked on the accompanying link, and my world changed once again. Welcome to “Metal Guys with Kitties“.

One example, to pique your curiosity.

My former cat sitting partner sent along this photo of our old friend, Zee Boogwa.

Wish you were here.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.

  1. A hoagie isn’t a hoagie without meat. It’s just sad.
