Halfway

Yesterday, Jake left Huntingdon in the morning and reached my parents’ house, a driving distance of approximately 150 miles, late at night. I am impressed. Here in Brooklyn, it’s a big cold grey day and I’m wishing I could spend it, deliciously, in the way I am spending my morning: hood up, under blankets, NPR, cups of coffee. WHAT A DAY I WOULD HAVE. Alas, there is work to be done. Outside the bed.

Some cats, to get us started.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
