Catten Down the Hatches

I report to you from the St Marks Ave. Bunker, current home to Erin, Dylan, Olive, numerous plants, many provisions, and my Bearded Companion. We are barely awake on this morning, stirring, whispering, looking out the window at the angry grey, the thrashing tree. (Yes, that’s right, we have a large tree outside our window.) Stirring spoons into coffee, sipping and giggling, we are hoping this won’t be too bad, but preparing for it to be.

With love and care and thoughts for all.

This maaay have been shown before…or maybe I’m just dreaming! In any case, it is worth a first or millionth perusal.

from MARY

I know that my dad in particular would like cat scientists! There’s something here for everyone.

from LIBBY

I was waiting to post this because, shortly after Libby saw this fabled gentleman (first introduced to me long before living in New York by our UK Cat Correspondent, Matt) and sent me the following image, ROY AND I also saw him and got a bunch of photos with him but then Roy’s phone broke and I’ve only just found this out.

Still, supreme.

from JESSE

The title alone made this video worth investigating, but the footage holds up too. No disappointments here! Someone get those cats a bouncer.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
