Because on Halloween I was busy doing these things:
I was also busy not blogging. (I should note that Halloween also coincided with the Hurricane, the evacuation of my sister and her gentleman companion, AND the out of state visit-Juniata Summit populated by the New Mexican Camera Coon and Steve, Jon and Kazia, hailing from Pennsylvania. I WAS BUSY.)
HOWEVER I did collect some real gems and so I present you with these now.
While walking to get coffee I stumbled upon this Halloween cat. She was super sassy and kind of terrifying. Possibly a spirit animal- never can be too sure.
This was the first a series of thrilling Halloween e-cards from Jake’s family! Both were interactive, so I will just have to reproduce screenshots here.

….#2! I am a big fan of both of these haunted kitties.
from the family back home: MOMCAT, DADCAT, JOSEPH EUGENE BASIL THE GREAT
From these fine folks I can always count on, among other things, quality handsoaps. This Halloween season, I was not disappointed. This kitty survives still, despite the swarms of guests we sustained over the last several weeks. GLOWS IN THE DARK.
