Happy Octo-versary

I should begin by stating that this blog is now just over two years old and, today, the Weller-Quinn coalition is three. We moved from a dome to a half-finished house to an icy old room to a train-side apartment to a kitchen with a broken stove to this, our current residence, the small and sturdy nest with cat companion and partially snapped tree outside. We’ve slept in leaves, behind a motorcycle game at a New Zealand airport arcade, on wild mountainsides, in borrowed houses, in our gift bed, and hundreds and miles apart. It has not all been easy, it will not always be easy, but there is a grace to our movements and kindness for each other.

Nothing but flowers.

In celebration, I will remind you of our friend Olive.

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
