They Wished You A Merry Mike-mas

In Quinn time, we’ve been celebrating for twenty-four hours now. Welcome to Christmas, Day 2: Christmas Eve Proper. Today is the one that sees us traveling to the Scranton area to visit with the Quinn side of the family…. we are approximately 100,000 in number. This evening will be a sea of wrapping paper, finger foods, glasses of wine, fuzzy little dogs who choose to snub me though I will try in vain to win their affection. It will be a sight to behold.

Other places, loved ones are gathering differently: resting in German apartments while Mom stirs the gluehwein, taking smiley dogs for canoe rides through icy bays, preparing for jungle plane rides, buying meat for Christmas Day barbecues in the middle of city of millions. We are all of us loved, and lovely.

Like Mike.

This year, Katie and Ryan “wish you a Merry Mikemas and  a Happy Mike year”!

About bearicaquinn

Smallish, smushy in the sad parts, certainly destined for cat-lady-dom. Enjoys boats, bikes, black coffee, pug faces, sourdough bread, the morning when you have slept long enough, beards, mountainsides, art, rooftops, etc. Will continue to live in things that are interestingly shaped. So octopus.
